About

What is Celebrate?

Celebrate lets you create a beautiful, personal web page for someone you care about — a birthday, a congratulations, a farewell, or anything worth marking. You build it, you share a link, they open it and see something made just for them.

It started as a one-off birthday page built for one person. This is that idea, opened up for everyone.

How it works

  1. Choose an occasion — or write your own.
  2. Pick your components: background colours, animated emoji theme, a greeting, a personal note, a photo, a sign-off.
  3. Hit Create. You get two links.
  4. Send the share link to the recipient. Keep the edit link for yourself.
  5. The recipient opens the link and sees their celebration. No sign-up, no friction.

You can come back to your edit link at any time to make changes. The share link stays the same, so you don't need to re-send it.

Privacy

Celebrate doesn't ask for your name, email address, or any account details. There are no sign-ups.

When you create a celebration, a secret token is built into your edit link. That token — and only that token — is what gives you edit access. We store a fingerprint of it so we can verify it, but we can't reverse it to identify you. If you lose your edit link and have cleared your browser history, edit access is gone for good. That's the trade-off for not storing anything about you.

The recipient's link contains no personal information either. Celebrate doesn't know who they are or that they viewed it.

What gets stored?

The content of your celebration — the text, colours, emoji choices, and any photo you upload — is stored so it can be served to the recipient. Nothing else. No names, no emails, no analytics tied to individuals.
